Katie will begin the three day workshop with a demonstration of her painting technique. The first day, Katie will paint one spring flower taking students through her process step by step. The second and third day of the workshop, students will paint a flower of their choosing with individual critiques from Katie. This workshop will focus on technique and careful study of a single flower. Students should not expect to complete a finished painting. Additionally, Katie will explain and demonstrate how she works with a non-toxic palette. There will be no heavy metal pigments allowed in this workshop (lead, cadmium, cobalt, vermilion). Going solvent free will be highly encouraged.

She has taught numerous floral painting workshops around the country and at Grand Central Atelier.
