Description
KAMILLE CORRY:
FLORAL PAINTING
5 Day Workshop
September 6 -10, 2021
10a -5:30p
Focusing on the beauty of flowers, this five day Floral Painting workshop will challenge the students to capture the ever changing form and character of fresh blooms. We will spend the first two days practicing technique on individual flowers, their color and values, as well as using the consistency of oil paints to describe their texture and form.
The last three days of the workshop, we will be painting a full floral composition, working on the design, light effect and overall color scheme. Students will have leeway to use creativity in their composition, and we will be discussing tips and tricks to keep the flowers in place and fresh as possible while working on our paintings over the course of a few days.
Kamille will be painting alongside students and giving daily critiques.
