KAMILLE CORRY:
FLORAL PAINTING
4 Day Workshop
March 3 – 6, 2025
10a -5:30p
Focusing on the beauty of flowers, this four day floral painting workshop will challenge the students to capture the ever changing form and character of fresh blooms. We will spend the first half of the workshop practicing techniques for individual and various flowers – concentrating on color, form and values, as well as using the consistency of oil paints to describe texture and form.
The second half of the course we will do a small composition with a few flowers, working on the design, light effect and overall color scheme. Tips and tricks to keep the flowers in pace and fresh as possible will be discussed as well. Kamille will be painting alongside the students and giving individual critiques.
