PORTRAIT SERIES- ALLA PRIMA PORTRAIT PAINTING

*With enough interest, we can add one extra class, since August has 5 Wednesdays on 8/30 for just the cost of the model for that session (usually around $15, depending on how many students are interested).
Tuition: $150 + $30 model fee
The Portrait Series continues with Alla Prima Portrait Painting. Working from a different live model each night, learn how to quickly and directly paint the portrait in one sitting. You will develop a deeper understanding of the human head as well as how to work in oils wet into wet. Working in this direct manner is an exhilarating practice that will help you become a more confident and efficient painter. Every brushstroke has a purpose. This class will strengthen your drawing and painting ability whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced student. Continue to build your understanding of painting the portrait in oils by joining this class.
