Description

HANDS & FEET DRAWING INTENSIVE
Wednesdays in September 2024
6:30 – 9:30p
Tuition: $250 includes the model fee.

This Hands & Feet intensive focuses on learning the anatomy and basic structure of the hands and feet.  We will work two days on each appendage, with the first session focusing on drawing and the second with the opportunity to either continue with drawing OR for those who have taken any painting class with me, to try your hand at painting hands and feet. Working from different live models, you will learn to draw (and potentially to paint) these expressive forms with greater ease and accuracy.  By first focusing on the overall gesture, gaining an understanding of the anatomy and simplifying the forms into understandable planes we can demystify these complicated appendages.  This class will help you to overcome any fears you may have about drawing or painting hands and feet! This intensive class is designed to help the beginner student as well as more experienced artist.  Space is limited to only 12 students so that we can get close enough to the model to focus intently on their hands and feet.
