MATERIALS LIST:

Oil Paints:
Lead White (can be replaced with Titanium White)
Cad Yellow Lemon
Yellow Ochre
Cad Red Medium
Alizarin Crimson
Terra Rossa (can be replaced with Venetian Red)
Raw Umber
Cobalt Blue
Ultramarine Blue
Ivory Black.

Brushes:
Bristle brushes and Natural Sable or Synthetic brushes, of varied shapes and sizes (flats, filberts and rounds).

Medium:
Any alkyd medium (Liquin, Galkyd).

Gamsol (Please note if you are flying, Alia Fine Art Studios will provide Gamsol, but please bring a non-glass container to hold it).

Palette:
Wooden, Masonite, Glass or Acrylic palette, it’s important that it’s not a white palette.

Support:
Panels, Boards or Canvases no bigger than 60×60 cm (24″ x 24″), previously primed with a neutral tone.

Miscellaneous:

  • Container to hold Gamsol (preferably not glass)
  • A palette knife 1” -3”
  • hat or visor is recommended
  • Paper Towels
