Materials List

• 3-4 canvas boards or gessoed panels approximately 11″x14″ to 12″x16″
• Palette (middle grey, wood, paper or glass)
• Gamsol odorless mineral spirits (for those students flying, Alia Fine Art Studios will provide Gamsol, but please bring your own container)
• Silicoil or metal containers for the mineral spirits
• Viva paper towels or rags
• Pocket mirror or the MVP – (Mirror Value Planner) by Peggi Kroll Roberts.  This can be purchased here:  Kroll Roberts Studio -(I personally LOVE this product!)
• Small container of linseed or poppy oil
• Small palette cup for oil
• Steel palette knife
• Brushes – 5 – 6 filbert brushes ranging from size 0 – 8
• A hat or visor is recommended

Oil colors – (Gamblin is an Inexpensive Recommended Brand):
Titanium White
Cadmium Yellow
Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red
Alizarin Crimson
Cerulean Blue
Ultramarine Blue
Burnt Sienna
Burnt Umber
Ivory Black
