MATERIALS LIST:
Oil Paints:
- Titanium white (large tube) Winsor Newton or Gamblin
- Winsor Yellow (Winsor Newton)
- Ultramarine Blue (Winsor Newton or Gamblin)
- Raw Umber (Gamblin)
- Transparent Oxide Red also called Transparent Earth Red (Gamblin)
Brushes
- An assortment. Try hog bristles and synthetic blend brushes in the following shapes and sizes
Filbert: 2, 4, 6, 8
Flat: 2, 4, 6, 8
Canvas Boards, Panels, or Canvas Paper:
- 12 9” x 12”
- 4 12” x 16”
- Palette (clean, flat wooden or melamine which is easy to clean)
- Steel palette knife (3” trowel shape)
- Gamsol (please note, AFAS will provide Gamsol for anyone flying in from out of town, please do not try to fly with this volatile solvent).
- Non-glass container for your solvent
- Paper towels or rags
- Pocket mirror

- Hat or visor is recommended
- The Masters Brush Cleaner & Preserver
- Small container of linseed or walnut oil
